As a standout high school and college student athlete, Miguel Bennett prided himself on hard work,dedication and discipline throughout his entire basketball career. These are the same principles which he instills in every individual that he comes in contact with everyday in his training and coaching sessions/clinics. He has been providing high quality, intense training for players ages 7 up to professional level since 2006.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended nationally renowned Rainier Beach High School located in Seattle WA, which has bred such players as Nate Robinson (Boston Celtics), Jamal Crawford (Atlanta Hawks), Terrance Williams (N.J. Net’s), C.J. Giles (former NBA player), Doug Christie (former NBA player). Coach Bennett was named co-MVP and an All-State selection while he was the team captain, 2nd leading scorer and leading rebounder his senior year on a state championship winning team with fellow teammate Jamal Crawford.
HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE
Coach Blaire Camarda played high school basketball at Carlsbad High School in San Diego, CA. She was a four year Varsity player and contributed to four 20+ win seasons. After high school, she played two years at nationally renowned, Concordia University in Irvine and finished her collegiate carrier at Chapman University in Orange. During her collegiate play, she was apart of two NAIA and two NCAA playoff teams.

Coach Daniel Smith was a 3-time Varsity starter at San Pedro High School while being team captain his junior and senior year. Coach Smith led the Pirates to two Marine League titles and a city championship his senior year. He also earned league MVP honors his senior year. He was a Scholar Athlete and currently holds the record for free throw percentage and assists in a season at San Pedro HS. Daniel completed his high school career listed as the #2 scorer of all-time in school history.
COLLEGE
Coach Smith accepted a full athletic scholarship to the University of Colorado at Boulder. There Coach Smith matured as a basketball player and an individual. During his sophomore year, he transferred back home and attended

Continuing at Cerritos Junior College located in Norwalk California, Coach Bennett was once again part of a winning state championship team. His Sophomore year Coach Bennett was team captain, team MVP, named 1st team All South Coast Conference selection while he was the leading scorer and rebounder on his team. After receiving numerous athletic scholarship offers from throughout the country, He accepted a full athletic scholarship to Oklahoma State University.
A near tragic car accident ending with back surgery his junior year at Oklahoma State, led him to sit out for 2 years of playing. After which, he landed at Chapman University in Orange California for their nationally acclaimed rigorous Argyros School of Business & Economics.
As a student athlete at Chapman University Coach Bennett helped lead Chapman to the schools first of two 20+ win seasons while leading the team in rebounding, 2nd leading scorer and being named NCAA Div III 2nd Team selection. He became the 7th quickest player in school history to reach 300+ rebounds. In just two years, Coach Bennett entered the single season record books as one of the top 5 rebounders and field goal percentage shooters in school history.
CURRENTLY
After graduating with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing as well as Management; Coach Bennett quickly used his degree knowledge and talents as a teacher, mentor and basketball standout to create his own basketball and sports performance training business and competitive AAU teams. Since 2006, Coach Bennett has provided 1,000+ clinics, coaching clinics, elite camps and other training events for NJB, Jason Wright (JWBasketball) and OC Premier Basketball Club.
Coach Bennett has been dubbed one of Southern California's top trainers in large part due to his highly unique, complex and intense training drills and methods.
and Organizational Studies as well as a minor in Coaching/Physical Education and Nutrition. She took her love for basketball and coached one year at her Alma Mater-Carlsbad High School. With OC Sports Academy she worked with multi-sport athletes training them to build speed, agility, coordination and strength.
CURRENTLY
Coach Camarda is currently in her fourth year as the Varsity head coach of the girls’ basketball program at Santa Ana High School. Coach Camarda focuses on building positive character in young athletes, she excels in teaching them life skills as well as increasing their basketball knowledge and skills. She has an uncanny ability to use basketball as a tool in order to show players how to be positive contributors to society. Coach Carmada is also a certified personal trainer and has been providing quality private and team training in the Orange County area for the past five years. Coach Camarda will be a great role model, coach and trainer.

Cal State University of Northridge where he continued his education and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a Minor in Kinesiology.
CURRENTLY
As Coach Smith continues to coach and mentor individuals through basketball, Daniel has coached several teams in the Chino-Valley NJB organization. In addition, Daniel started his own basketball training program and conducts individual and small group trainings. Coach Smith aspirations have always been to give back and teach our youth the importance of fundamental basketball. Daniel has worked alongside many past and current NBA players, assisting with camps to increase the basketball IQ’s of all players. Daniel’s ultimate goal is to build upon OC Premier Basketball Club program where boys and girls of all ages are taught teamwork, basic fundamentals, and the importance of working hard for your dreams through doing well in school and striving for higher education.
Coach Smith will be a great basketball mind and influence on all players he coaches and trains within the OC Premier Basketball family.

Matt Peterson: Head Coach/Professional Training Specialist
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Eisenhower High School in Yakima, WA and played under a Hall of Fame Coach with over 700 wins, Pat Fitterer. Helped his team to two 4th place finishes at the Washington State 4A Tournament, once as a sophomore and once as a senior in 2007, the highest Eisenhower has ever finished at the State Tournament. Eisenhower captured their conference title as well as the district title. Coach Matt was Named 1st Team All-Colombia Basin League, 2nd Team All-Region, and All-State Honorable Mention as a senior. He was a team captain, averaged a double-double, led his team in rebounding and was their second leading scorer.
COLLEGE
Coach Peterson continued his academic and basketball career at Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, WA. He helped lead his team to two 5th place finishes at the NWAACC tournament. As a sophomore he earned team MVP, was second in scoring and rebounding, as well as being an NWAACC All-Star. Additionally, Coach scored a career-high 32 points, in an 86-79 victory over Bellevue College.
After Junior College Coach Peterson accepted a full academic scholarship to the University of Alaska Anchorage; a powerhouse Division II school in the GNAC conference. They were ranked as high as 25th in the nation, made it to the second round of the NCAA Division II tournament and finished with a 24-10 record.
Coach Peterson made Hope International University his last stop for his collegiate career. He helped their team win the most games in over a decade. He was only able to play the pre-season because of some unfortunate luck with eligibility during the transfer from NCAA to NAIA, that being said he is still currently the second leading rebounder for his team.
CURRENTLY
Coach Matt is currently working on finishing up his both of his degrees, Business Management and Business Marketing. He brings a great balance of qualities with his personality and passion for teaching and mentoring for the OC Premier Family.
Coach Peterson is an enthusiastic coach who believes in the fundamentals of basketball but more importantly molding young minds to be successful individuals.
HIGH SCHOOL
Juaquin Hawkins was a Southern California standout high school player at Lynwood High School. Hawk was named Southeast Player of the Year his senior year and picked up All SGVL Honors. After his senior year at Lynwood High, Coach Hawk earned a full athletic Scholarship to Cal State Long Beach.
COLLEGE
As a starter at Long Beach State, the versatile 6'7 inch Hawkins was a defensive specialist taking on the opposing teams leading scorer game in and game out, no matter their position. He was selected the Big West conference's second-best defensive player in a poll by players and coaches his senior year. Coach Hawkins graduated early with a degree in African Studies.
PROFESSIONAL
After years of playing internationally in 4 different countries, in the minor leagues ABA, CBA, IBL, with the Harlem Globetrotter and even being cut by two NBA teams, Hawk made the NBA with the Houston Rockets and became the second oldest rookie in the NBA in 2003 while playing all 82 games that season and starting 10 games. He continued his NBA career by signing as a free agent to play with Kobe Bryant, Nick Van Exel, Shaquille O'Neal on the Los Angeles Lakers. He also had brief stints with the Bucks, L.A. Clippers, Warriors and even the Harlem Globe Trotters. As his international basketball journey continued after the NBA in 2008, Hawkins would face his toughest challenge yet. He suffered a stroke while playing professional basketball in Australia at the age of 34. Suddenly his career was over. After being disabled and going through many months of physical and speech therapy Hawk was back playing Pro-Am locally and founded Hawk Hoops Sports Foundation.
CURRENTLY
Hawk mentors youth boys and girls ages 6-18 and teaches them the fundamentals of basketball as well teaching them the benefits of sports and education through an after school program. Coach Hawkins will be a valuable assest to OC Premier Basketball players and overall program as he brings his experience from playing at the highest level, great attitude and extensive experience working with youth basketball players.

Dwight attended the highly praised Dominguez High School where he was side by side with current long time NBA veteran Tayshaun Prince and AND1 phenom Kenny "Bad Santa" Brunner. Tyson Chandler came on to play with the varsity team the year following Dwight's senior year.
COLLEGE
Dwight pursued his basketball and educational goals at Cerritos Junior College. As one of the most versatile athletes at the Junior College level his sophomore year, Dwight helped lead the Cerritos College Falcons to a deep playoff run while averaging a double-double in conference play. His

contributions as a starter and tenacious defense helped guide the team to the state championships. He was named 2nd team all conference and he also received most improved player honor during his sophomore season.
Upon leaving Cerritos College, Dwight played the next two years at Chapman University and lead the team in rebounds and blocked shots, achieving a two-year team record of 38-12. Dwight's most noted game came during a triple overtime loss versus University of Redlands where he logged 18 points, 18 rebounds, and 5 blocks. It was the highest scoring game in NCAA Division III history with a score of 153-154. While at Chapman, Dwight majored in Graphic Design, with an emphasis in music.
CURRENTLY
Dwight is highly involved in the development of young men and women in the Southern California region. He currently operates a Mentor University which educates youth in music reading, percussion, leadership and biblical studies. Dwight also has extensive experience in business development and owns a successful Graphic Design Studio called Marvesa Creative Studios and is currently employeed as a highly sought after Technical Advisor at Glidewell Dental Lab.
Dwight has a passion for encouraging, training, and mentoring others to reach their maximum potential in all facets of life. He works to get the most out of all the players he mentors and coaches.
